Ugh, sorry about disappearing there. College suddenly ate me alive. Suddenly came to and realized I hadn’t even looked at this in a while. (Crap, I hope my hotmail accounts are still active..)

Going to try to upgrade the dictionary over Spring break instead of playing with my fanfic. Sally has been playing with her site and it just blows my mind. Gotta get a piece of that action here. =)

I’ll try to get caught up on the posts in the forums and get those definitions posted. Sorry again!

A common practice in many fandoms is creating unique names to describe specific pairings by combining the couple’s names.

No offense, but it confuses the hell out of me. ^^;

If I’m confused, there are others that are equally confused. So I’m making a section within the Fandom category that will hold these pairing names.

Help us n00bs out here, shippers! Submit pairing names to this thread. As usual, I promise to give you full credit however you’d like it for your definition.

At the request of someone over on the Lunaescence Guild on Gaia Online, I’m going to begin adding fan fiction and literary genres and types to the dictionary.

These will both include genres, story types, and warnings found on our main fan fiction site as well as ones we don’t currently use.

No new words this time around, just a couple announcements I’m going to do away with the event calendar. It’s just too hard to make sure all the holidays and events have been added correctly. Once the holidays have passed, that section will be deleted from the front page.

I’m also starting to rethink all the Japanese words I’ve added. I never intended this to be a Japanese <-> English dictionary, just a dictionary of common words used by fans. While I had my fun, I’m not sure if it’s appropriate.
